Sarah Johnston

Sarah Johnston, PT, DPT, AIB-VRC, LSVT Sarah was born and raised in the DFW metroplex. She grew up her whole life playing sports and had the opportunity to be a part of the women’s soccer team at Dallas Baptist University. Sarah was frequently injured throughout high school and college through multiple ACL tears that led her to being a patient in therapy. It was through being a patient that she learned the joy that could come from helping others reach their full quality of life through movement and believed the profession to be her calling. She received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Dallas Baptist University then went on and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in August 2020 from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas. Sarah has worked for the past three years as a physical therapist in the outpatient setting. Sarah has treated in her career a variety of orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses, but has pursued post professional certifications that equipped her to evaluate and treat any patients with dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. Sarah also is certified in LSVT BIG and loves to help people with Parkinsons improve their overall quality of movement. Sarah got married in April 2023 to her husband Jordan. They moved to Celina in May 2023 with their dog Lucy. Sarah in her free time loves to be able to spend quality time with her family and friends as much as she possibly can. Any chance to be outdoors and be active is something that brings her great joy. Sarah and Jordan attend Legacy Hills Church in Celina and are so excited to be able to live and serve the community that is growing with new families every single day.
